Offered here is 4.75x7.25" envelope that has been hand-addressed to Murray and bears Nov. 10, 1944 Los Angeles, CA postmark. Envelope has been wonderfully illustrated w/pen and ink original art featuring editorial style cartoon of beaten up Adolf Hitler and stereotypical depiction of Japanese commander amongst stars (two w/hand-lettered "Philippines" and "Western Front" designations) by noted editorial cartoonist Bruce Russell (1903-1963), who has signed art. Envelope is evenly aged and shows glue staining as sealed, but VF overall. Art remains clean and Exc.
