Jerry Ordway 2022 Golden Age Heroes Double Page Spread

My latest acquisition! From the pages of Earth Prime # 4 Stargirl, pgs. 14 & 15 DPS featuring a powerful gathering of some of the most famous and most obscure Golden Age heroes and their kid sidekicks.

Featured here are Green Lantern, Black Condor, Hawkgirl, Blue Beetle, Sparky (Beetle's sidekick), Guardian, The Newsboy Legion, Liberty Belle, Flash, Sandman, Sandy (Sandman's sidekick), Human Bomb, Cherry Bomb (Human Bomb's sidekick), TNT, Dan Dyn-O-Mite (TNT's sidekick)! In the inset panels are Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) and Pat Dugan (older Stripesy) listening to a reformed Needle stories about how he used to fight Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy in the old days. Jerry really seems to excel at drawing the Golden Age characters, especially when he was on All-Star Squadron in the 1980's. His crisp style has always reminded me of Wally Wood.
