BATMAN: The Animated Series Animation Cel Featuring Batgirl! #3

Batgirl finds herself in a pinch in this original hand-painted production cel setup after Catwoman was asking one too many questions about the robbery of the jade cat statue. Originally aired over 30 years ago on 11/12/1994 as Episode 8 of Season 3 "Batgirl Returns," this episode sees Barabra Gordon once again become Batgirl to investigate the theft of a jade cat statue while Bruce Wayne in is Europe on a business trip. She runs into Catwoman, who is also investigating the robbery and the two team up to find the statue. Robin tails them as things go from bad to worse. Batgirl's battle-ready figure, measuring approximately 7" x 7", can be seen at the 10:44 timestamp of the episode and is displayed with archival tape over a scene matching print background for presentation purposes. This production cel setup bears a production art seal from the Warner Brothers Production Animation team in the lower left corner. Purchased at Heritage Auctions.
