Yevgeny Sokolov, Kraven the Hunter

Yet again, huge thanks to Newell (Stingray) for putting this incredible artist on my radar.
Yevgeny has an amazing talent for capturing the grit and raw intensity of his characters. As I’ve been working through my Spider-Man villains list, I knew he was the perfect choice for Kraven. The moment he opened Inktober commissions, I jumped on it.
We finally met in person this past February at OAX, and he turned out to be not just a phenomenal artist, but a great guy to talk to as well. I feel lucky to have this piece and can’t wait to get it up on my wall.
