“Quiet Contemplation” by Anna Kathleen

Some pieces just immediately speak to you. "Quiet Contemplation" was one of those for me. When Anna shared this piece on Instagram I just kept coming back to it throughout the day. I finally decided it didn't hurt to ask about it so I messaged her to see if it happened to be for sale. She quickly responded and after getting a shipping quote from New Zealand I soon purchased it. It was such a pleasure buying from her and I even ended up sharing my account on here since I haven't posted any of my collection on Instagram in years. We had a lovely conversation about supporting artists and how much it means to artists like her. I'll definitely be buying more of her wonderful art in the future. 
 

I'm a sucker for a beautiful lady in glasses and as soon as Anna shared her I was smitten. Some pieces don't need any explanation other than that you love it and simply have to have it. This is one of those pieces for me. Just a piece I'm so happy to have from this exceptional artist. 
 

This piece was created as part of a series that she is turning into prints for a show. She is playing with collage effects and the results are awesome.
