Emerald Vi (Shrinking Violet as the Emerald Empress) Sketch Card by Jeff Moy

I'm unfamiliar with this version of Violet; she doesn't look very shrinking to me!  Very cool artwork, especially for a sketch card.  Love all the green shades and details, especially the big eye in the top corner!

No, not very shrinking at all!  This version of Vi appeared during the Reboot Legion era, in LSH (Vol. 4) 83 and 84, and most notably in Legionnaires #40.  To make a very long story short, unbeknownst to readers, Vi had come into contact with the Emerald Eye, which began altering her personality to make her more confident and outgoing, as she'd always wanted to be.  She began drawing on its power more and more, until it eventually completely possessed her and made her into the Emerald Empress, giving her beauty and power in spades (and a good helping of megalomania, to boot).  Legionnaires #40 is particularly worth the read, if just to enjoy Jeff Moy's beautiful art!

Ooohh boy this is a hot one! This costume really exudes a much bolder and more confident character. Def feelin' all the green, and the Emerald Eye in the background is a great touch. Even more Moy for Margaret!
