Nice Geiger page and an interesting looking property that I completely missed out on. I didn't know that it took that familiar journey from toy to cartoon to comics so I just learned something! 

This is the bee's knees, or maybe, the fly's eyes?!

I don't know how I missed these toys growing up, but this is my first introduction to these characters.  You grabbed a nice page!!!

I never owned a Secaturs toy, although I thought looked cool, but I sure owned some Sectaurs comics! And I love seeing more Steve Geiger art on CAF! He's a great artist who never got enough love, in my opinion.

I didn't own any of the toys either but back when I was able to get some of those children's books and coloring books.  The former was my intro if I remember right and you made me go look for it  - found it right here!

Sectaurs!  They seem vaguely familiar on comic art boards...

Never read this book. I hate insects though, so I'd squash all of these guys like bugs! I HAVE always enjoyed Geiger's work, though, after doing some Hulk work in the mid-80's. I always thought he had a lot of potential, but he must've had artistic interests outside comics because he neve rseemed to stick around as a monthly guy and only ever seemed to do a few issues here and there. Shout out to Joe Del Beato, who I always assumed was just a guy Nicxky B knew and gave him sketch cards and covers to draw. I wasn't aware he had once worked at Marvel way back in the mid-80's!

I remember the commercials for the toys, but I don't believe that anyone I knew owned any of them.  I do remember my brother having a couple of the comic books - love the art from them!  Great pickup!

Very cool!  I've never heard of Sectaurs, pal, but this sure looks cool...  Really well drawn; even though that first panel, as you say, is the money shot, there's lots of solid drawing everywhere...  and if you're a fan of chitonous plates, this is a gold mine! :)  Adding pieces to one's collection from media we loved as a kid is a main appeal of collecting this magical stuff we do, and Geiger was obviously dialed in and giving his all: this is lovely work.  Congrats, K!
