It always feels great cheking something off on the list! Congrats on landing this cool page!!!
Nice GR page. Congrats
Just as with Spider-man, I've lost count of how many Ghost Riders there are now. But for me, Johnny Blaze will always be the one and only GR. Congrats on snagging an actual transformation. Very, very, cool.
I hear ya. As a kid of the '80s and teen of the '90s my real intro was more the Danny Ketch GR, when Marvel was releasing tons of #1 new issues in the early '90s. But...I found JB later and LOVED his original look and flava, nay, fire (pun!) and do to this day.
Thanks, E DLS, and all, for the comments!
Cool transformation page, bubs.
Only one thing to do with a page like this. Grab the scissors and start snipping. Hours of entertainment.
The transformation sequence is beautiful!
Sweet Perlin GR page with an excellent transformation sequence. Congrats.
Ghost Rider don't simp to no sirens!
beauty of a transformation page, perlin was the man , such a hard working artist, congrats
I bet it's a Taylor Swift song that induces so much anger that it turns normal Johnny Blaze into the raging Spirit of Vengeance, Ghost Rider!
ooh!! the transformation!!
Music, motorcycle, and a sweet transformation sequence!
Good thinking. Can't hear the music without ears!
Every time that I look at Ghost Rider
All these lines on my face catching fire
The past is skull
It went by like comic con
Isn't that the Blaze?
Everybody's got their dudes and wives to pay, yeah
Panels ol' Johnny shows
Where it comes and where art goes
I know that everybody's in
You got to choose to know now Perlin
Half my rides in books' written pages
Lived and learned from mood and from sketches
You know it's smooth
All the inks come back to you
Sing with me, sing for the fear
Sing for transformers and sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for the page
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
What a transformation page! Love this!
Fun GR transformation page.
Transformation AND beautiful young women? I dig that tune! Congrats KG!
I was gonna joke.. it's probably Heavy Metal.. but I think I am showing my bias..ha ha. Fun pick up KG!
The fire vein :)
Or, if we wanna go true blue heavy metal...Blackened (Remastered)
Latter's a personal fave.
Thanks for the add, DF!
Wonderful transformation page!
Great transformer page, another page from the list always feels good.
Great transformation sequence and i9t matches up beautifully with your Werewolf by Night transformation page. I would absolutely place them side by side on a portfolio!
Great to have a transformation page, and the hovering notes are a nice touch. I wonder why Ghost Rider is immune to the sirens' song - does he just hate music and frivolity in general?
Johnny Blaze is a cool guy, but Ghost Rider once again proves why he'd be no fun at parties.
Killer transformation page!
Wow - that is a -great transformation page! Panel 5 is hardcore - love it! Shots like that were very striking and effective when I was a kid, as I loved all the heroes and was always shocked when I saw something like this and realized the sword's edge that some of these characters ride or die on. The curses can hurt! But thanks to Perlin, they sure look fantastic. Really nice layout to make the most of the space on that page; the first three panels stack beautifully (and reversing out the black musical notes to white keeps our focus on Johnny and the panel from being too crowded and indecipherable) and then the bottom row takes you home. An excellent way to cross a big want off your list... I just hope you didn't make a deal with a man in black and trade away anything... "extra special" for it...? :) Big congrats, K! Fantastic!
Curses can hurt...but...still worth it?!?1 And was my trade...worth it?! Time tell ;)
Thanks for the add, Jason! Always like hearing what you see in the art that I often don't!
I love a good transformation page ;)
This is a magnificent example of the OG GR - congrats KG!
Love that transformation! Congrats!
