Description

I don’t collect villain art. But for this, I had to make an exception.

A HeroesCon pickup, this was to be Mike’s first mystery sketch. However, he did not realize there was a character assignment for the sketch, so he drew what he wanted... and boy, does it show.

Mike's character commissions are always beautiful. But here, he seemed to reach down for something extra, especially the eyes.

When he realized the mystery sketch oversight, Mike created the required character and put this in his Heroes pile, which is now the first bad-guy art in my collection.

The fact this wound up back in a CAF collector's hands is kinda cool, too.

It's those eyes that have a magnetic charisma!  Maybe McKone wanted to make it more unsettling with Joker having aspects of him they we can all find attractive admist the madness.  Maybe that's what Harley saw in him.

Now that's a bad guy. The Joker face and expression is perfectly maniacal! A great Heroes pickup for you. Congrats. I do have to wonder why he's wearing a track jacket though - did he just go for a run? Is he attending a cool breeze late night World Cup game? Only Mike really knows I suppose - unless you asked him.
