Here's an incredibly rare opportunity to own a page from Smitty's wonderful run on Doctor Strange! There hasn't been a page from his brief run on that title available on Heritage since 2019 (which somehow is seven years ago already)! This beautiful example features an in-costume Doctor Strange in all four large panels, along with Dane Whitman, the Black Knight. Pages from this run are incredibly rare as Smitty kept all the pages from the issues he inked himself, as well as most of the pages from the issues that were inked by Terry Austin, such as this one. Only a precious few have made it into the wild since this was drawn way back in 1984. Jim Novak's letters are drawn directly onto the board as was the norm in that era. Already signed by Smitty in the lower margin when I purchased it roughly two decades ago.
