Description

my second sketch ever, by my favorite artist! this was rec'd at the Crossgen booth at the SDCC2001, and times will never be the same again. Crossgen actually paid their artists to be there, so artists would sketch for an hour to three hours at a time. twice a day, typically. for people that loved getting sketches from their fave artists, this was probably the most amiable artists would ever be. Alessi did many things wrong, but he helped make a star of Greg Land, Steve Epting, and Jim Cheung. their exposure at Crossgen, along with their unmistakable talent, helped launch them to huge things and fans were all the luckier for that.
