Ryan Sook – Nightwing 133 early proposal

Ryan Sook’s cover for Nightwing 133 (http://www.dccomics.com/media/covers/7430_400x600.jpg) is a truly lovely piece of work, showing two earlier stages of Dick Graysons life reflecting from his present as Nightwing; his classic Robin outfit and his original Nightwing outfit. No wonder DC have decided to turn it into a poster!



This is an early concept done by Sook, showing a planned layout. In the final version, he moved the reflections closer together, probably to increase the sense that this is the same person.



The quote underneath are perhaps taglines; “Not so distant, the past” and “Past lives so present”
