Description

I met Sergio at a Dallas Fantasy Fair in 1988. I was reading Groo the Wanderer way back then and wanted a sketch. Guess I caught him on a bad day because he didn't seem very interested in my money or talking to me, although he did do this headsketch for me; that first meeting really kinda soured me. I've met him at cons since then and he was really nice, so I'm sure it was just bad timing on my part. But this sketch always reminded me of that first not-so-pleasant meeting, so I wasn't too broken up when I sold it a couple of years ago. Marker on 11x14 Bristol.
