Description

"The Farmer's In The Dell." While the writing in the first three panels are throwaways, the final panel is suddenly lovely. The artworkdisplays a Frank King more interested in the attention to details involved with inking patterns and folds in fabrics than in detailing faces. King's figures and storytelling were always wonderful, but somehow he always seemed uncomfortable portraying the characteristics of the human face. His horsies suck too.
