{For me this started it all...my addiction to collecting. This piece was contributed by Michael Turner the day of the Sam Loeb Auction at WW Chicago 2006...Jump to WW Chicago 2007 and Michael Turner is Better than Ever...such an inspiration!! It was a special day to honor Sam Loeb with the total auction earning over 70K for scholarships for future artists/writers....Superman/Batman #26 was a love letter to both Conner and Sam....but Sam was the real Superboy...}


June 27 2008 We Will Miss You-Mike Turner- To a True Hero....I wrote the above description one year after the Sam Loeb Auction and remember seeing Mike one year later and it was such an inspiration to see him with his fans...Another year later and I just can't believe it and still am in shock. For me, this piece will always be special to me and has been a source of inspiration for me. It was an Honor to meet and shake the hand of such a Talented Artist and Special Man---My Thoughts and Prayers are With His Family and Friends....
