Description

Funny story here: I had asked Shawn for a commission from Francis prior to SDCC 2007. I thought of Dawnstar immediately for two reasons: Francis draws sexy women and I thought I would never see him draw a Legionnaire since he was at Top Cow and Aspen. When I asked Shawn if Francis was familiar with the Legion...he was kinda evasive. I didn't understand it unitl WW Chicago a month later when the commission was finished. I guess it was a big secret at the tiime of SDCC that Francis was going to be the new Legion artist so that weekend in Chicago was a lot of fun for me....got a great Dawnstar commission AND Francis would be drawing my fav group of all time....even better to see the designs have inklings of my favorite time in Legion history when Cockrum first came on as Legion artist......Very Cool Indeed......maybe my superpower is Wish Fulfillment.....Thanks Shawn and Francis!!!
