Description

Finally Pinoy Boy as a Character!!! Had the opportunity to design and copyright a character of myself as a super-hero with the help of Aaron Warner and Cartoon Studios. This was great fun. He took my likeness and created a super-hero that embodied everything i though Pinoy Boy should be.

Who is Pinoy Boy? He is a little of me and much more.....

When I think about my aura as a Pisces....Blue comes to mine and thought that would represent the energy that comes from me....the blue snakes and mahogany staff represent me as a physician (the caduceus)....his tattoos glow with blue energy and consist of the original philippine alphabet prior to Spanish colonization called Alibata....the tattoos represent filipino words that call on healing powers that take in illness and dispel illness and on his torso--the words represent each of the four main elements which are under his control and which surround his island homeland. The fighter straps he has recalls ones that Karate Kid wears and the belt is vintage Ultra Boy (I had to include my Love of the Legion) but with a Philippine Sun, the same one that is on the National Flag....and finally Pinoy Boy travels on a small piece of earth....representing over the 7000 islands that comprise his homeland...it grounds him and strengthens his powers....He has a backstory and even a sidekick and soulmate....just like I do in real life.....This 200th Post is dedicated to my Boo on Valentine's Day.....Thanks Cartoon Studios!!!
