This is a page done
for a comic done
by UNICEF, DC
Comics and the
Dept of Defense
entitled "Landmines
Mozambique", one of
a series done in several
countries with a landmine
problem. We do not know
the details of this particular
comic but the series received
substantial international publicity.

It is clear that DC gave Sal Buscema (who signed it) three preexisting images to ink. This was on vellum and tracing would have been easy. The big one is from the cover of WW #63 by Brian Bolland. The upper left is plainly John Byrne and upper right is from the cover of
"Al Asesino Escondido"
(The Hidden Killer)
another comic in this
series done for Latin
America by an unidentified artist.

Interesting piece. I'm a big fan of Sal Buscema, so I enjoyed viewing this. Also, it is one of those very useful instances where it allows you to see what sort of impact an inker has on the finished look of the art, since this can be compared to the published versions.
