Description

Here is the second of the "Barbies" I purchased from Tom Grindberg. This isn't really good girl art except that it's good art depicting a girl. As with the B-52 Girl, I don't see so much Barbie in this picture. It looks like the kind of illustration they would have done some time in the 1950's for an article about teenage music or hi fi (only this is better than what they would have used). "Hi fi" by the way, is short for high fidelity. It is what they called high end record players in the 1950's and 1960's.
