Description

Tom Grindberg is a prolific and versatile artist who has both a comic book resume as long as an arm and a thriving career in commercial work. In the 1990's, he did a series of pictures, apparently for his own amusement, of what he supposed certain Barbie dolls might look like. This classic and very engaging one, looks nothing at all like a Barbie to us, but looks quite a lot like a bee hive hairstyled rock and roll honey from around the time Barbie came out. The name RLP made up, comes from how this looks like the kind of girl the group the B-52's originally lampooned.
