Back in the summer of 1972, I bought House of Mystery 204 right off the stands, and it struck me like a thunderbolt. Who was this Bernie Wrightson guy? I was just mesmerized by the style and substance of this artist, and at a time when I really didn't know the identities of specifc artists. It was a revelation to me then, and amazing to me now to see the original in all it's black and white glory. Seeing it, with grown up eyes, I must conclude that I had pretty good taste for a 12 year old! I must also thank both Irving and Joe for really going the extra mile to help make this possible. Much appreciated gentlemen!

This is the BEST House of Mystery cover from it's horror comics format. I also remember buying it off the newsstands. Great find!
