Beautifully detailed pencil piece of Walt Disney�s Mulan by Carlos Mota. Mota is a Brazilian artist who began his career in 1995. He spent his early years working on mainstream superhero comics for Marvel, Image, and DC. Around 1998, he switched to drawing Disney comics for various European and South American publishers.

I�ve had this piece forever, but I don�t know why I�ve never bothered to post it until now. I honestly don�t know if this was ever published or not, but if it was, I would imagine that it was used for some sort of comic adaptation of the movie.

Anyway, the piece features many of the main characters from the film. Mulan (of course), Mushu the dragon, the villainous Shan-Yu, Mulan�s father Fa Zhou, �Little Brother� (Mulan�s dog), and even Cri-Kee the little cricket on Mulan�s shoulder.

I won this on ebay years and years ago. Anyone who knows me at all knows what a Disney freak I am, so this is a very special piece for me. Wish I could find more Disney artwork, but they just don�t pop up that often.

Disney art is under appreciated in the U.S. market. This is a very nice pick up.
