Description
Greg Woronchak showing again why his commissions are in such demand.

I'd thought of a Golden Age style homage, with a Bill Finger-esque giant prop trap, and the only one I could think of that hadn't been used which might work was one of the claw-grab prize machines you see at funfairs, but with a Joker twist of course.

Batman has to save Robin using the claw, but is unaware that the Joker has added a little something extra to the exit chute, and he won't exchange damaged prizes.

My thought was for a few joker-ised toys to fill in the background and keep Robin company, but Greg came up with this amazing alternative and who can argue with the results

If DC Direct were to make these, I bet they'd really sell; The Penguin is fantastic, the Catwoman cuddly and, sorry Robbie m'boy, but if I had to choose between saving you and that adorable/hideous Two-Face teddy it might not be THAT clear cut a choice!

Great concept and execution. Reminds me of the elaborate death contraptions from the old TV show.

Why do you have to keep beating me out on his commissions? Very cool piece.
