Bolland, Brian - Animal Man 18 Cover Prelim

Was recently on a Bolland acquisition spree, and I focused on prelims to his covers to Grant Morrison's Animal Man run. This one varies from the published version, in that the finished cover has the same Animal Man silhouette enlarged and surrounded by the heads of perhaps 2 dozen different animals, as opposed to being in the eye of 1 here. The fact that it's a formative version of the final piece makes this rather unique, and the different levels of shading used to create it is interesting to see.
