Description

Ron Wilson's portion of this commission was completed back June 2006. Jump ahead a few years and Joe Rubinstein added his typically high quality ink finishes to the drawing. Joe did a wonderful job tweeking the image here and there, but ultimately letting Ron's style shine through.

The two-part story from Marvel Two in One # 17 and Marvel Team Up # 47 starred the Thing and Spider-Man fighting the Basilisk. Basilisk flew around Manhattan on a flying slab of rock, zapping things with his eye beams and creating volcanoes in the middle of NY harbor. Ron Wilson originally drew one of the comics, with Sal Buscema drawing the other.
