This drawing by artist Luke McDonnell of the Thing and Sandman sharing a couple of frosty brews (a la Marvel Two in One # 86) was a surprise gift from friend, fellow "themed" art collector and keeper of the Brotherhood,
Damon Owens, in celebration of the birth of my son (in 2008).
Jump ahead a few years and I was able to connect with inker/letterer Bruce Patterson (Camelot 3000, Green Lantern, Justice League, Micronauts, Wonder Woman) via his eBay auctions. Quick as you please, Bruce had this drawing inked and back in the friendly confines of the Yancy Street Preservation Society headquarters. I highly recommend Bruce's commission work to anyone interested.
