Description
This is Marvel Classics Comics Series #8 Featuring MOBY DICK from 1976. The cover was drawn by GIL KANE and inked by MIKE ESPOSITO making it a desirable piece of art. I love this piece. Even though it does have water damage it is the most expensive piece of art I have bought to date.

A Gil Kane cover is BIG TIME. Personally, I think he often took more time and care with his non-superhero covers and this one is a beauty. I love the way he captures that fraction of a moment, with all the speed & power of the Great White Whale on display.

Great cover. I had to laugh when I saw that it was water damaged! (In a good way of course)

I'm laughing about Dave's comment but in all seriousness what a great cover and combination of artists.

For years I thought it was Gil Kane and Klaus Janson... Turns out it was Gil Kane and Mike Esposito!
