Description
I started doing conventions in the Twin Cities in 1976, taking over from Dave Mruz who founded the Minneapolis Comics and Fantasy Society a few years earlier. In 1977, Dave came on-board as my co-chair. Rich Larson, who was ahead of me a couple of years in high school, was a fledging artist at the time and did lots of ads and flyers for various comic organizations in the Twin Cities.
