DescriptionI credit to these brief, classic Bolton/Claremont stories that appeared in Classic X-Men most of the attraction I felt for the the whole superhero genre when I started to read comics.The tone of the art and of the drawings where so greatly different from the smash-bang-boom comics I expected to find: they gave me a hint that costumed people adventures could be more interesting than I expected. The Colossus russian dancer story (from which this page is taken), Wolverine and Nightcrawler's night out, Jean Grey heartbreaking latest moments before the Phoneix incident: all of them were hardly forgettable moments. I was complaining that they were not collected in a single volume, then fellow collector Ben Herman (thank you, pal) advised me that they all have been reprinted togheter in the "Vignettes" X Men reprint volumes (reason #127 why I like CAF: it's useful). Great page, definitely. The back-ups by Claremont & Bolton were wonderful... and they have been collected into TPBs, X-Men Vignettes vol 1 & 2!
