Ultimate Spiderman 128 cover by Stuart Immonen

You know, I'm convinced a gorgeous piece like this must have had, like, twenty comments over the years... but this monster just keeps -eating- them when it gets bored...  This is _fantastic_ work by Stuart.  Never mind the "Ultimate" version - this is the "Absolute" version of Venom; grotesque, savage, and dialed up to 11.  The eyeless face and broken teeth are horrifying, the distended tongue is disgusting, and it feels like those massive hands are clawing through the foundation of the very page itself to GET AT YOU.  A brilliant example of the muscle (and muscle aplenty) of Stuart's incredible pencil work.  Brilliant add, F M!  (and I promise to come back and re-type this comment upon the occasion of its consumption!)
