It's not an action page but it IS a wonderful example of the talent of John Buscema and Bill Sienkiewicz. These two comic-art greats delivered some wonderful art in one of the most memorable and sought after Wolverine issues!!! I am stoked to own a piece of Wolverine history in my collection and a great example of Buscema/Sienkiewicz art from a Claremont story.

Claremont delivered a wonderful story of Wolverine as Patch reminiscing the Death of Silver Fox (1st appearance in this issue) and his revenge-filled battle with Sabertooth. In this page we see Patch attempting to save an injured man after a bar fight with the help of Madam Joy.

This is why Big John was the greatest, what a fantastic storytelling, composition and drawing. For me this kind of page is above any super hero fighting page. Congratulations !

Incredible draftsmanship and Sienkiewicz going to town on the inks. The silhouetted figure in the second panel seems to have some Franklin Booth flair. Really beautiful page!
