Karate Kid vs. Zealot by Tim Seeley

I had heard of Tim Seeley before, but I had never looked at his art until he drew some issues of New Exiles, and I really liked it. So then I read some Hack/Slash and found out that Tim could write, too! When he was announced as the new WildCats artist, and I saw some of his character designs, I knew I had to get a commission from him. My favorite thing about this piece is that it tells a story. Zealot has obviously just killed a Daemonite, and Val is ambushing her while she's tired. Honorable? No, but smart.

I think this could be one of Val Armorr's toughest fights. If Zealot is still alive in Val's time, which is very possible, then she almost definitely spent the next thousand years learning even more fighting techniques. And, like Val, Zannah knows fighting styles from other worlds. This fight could go for days with no clear winner. I see Val winning only if Zannah's arrogance gets the best of her.
