Karate Kid vs. Wonder Woman by Chris Samnee

Chris Samnee has been on my list for a Karate Kid commission for years and when he finally opened up his commission list again earlier this year I got on it as quickly as I could. I gave Chris a list of possible opponents to choose from and he went with Wonder Woman. And as soon as I saw this piece I knew it was worth the wait. I love the positioning of the characters and the lasso being everywhere and well, everything about this piece I love! Huge thanks to Chris for knocking this out of the park for me!

This would be one heck of a fight. Val Armorr has fought characters as powerful as Diana before, but never one whose hand-to-hand fighting skills were almost equal to his own. If she gets the lasso on him it will become a contest of wills, and I'm not sure Val can win that way. But once Diana sees how good a fighter Val is, I think she might want to keep this fight weaponless just to see if she can beat him hand-to-hand. If she's overconfident, Val will have a chance to take her down early. But if this fight goes on for a long time, I think Diana comes out on top.
