Here is a great re-do by Dan Adkins of a page he worked on with Wally Wood back in the glory days of Wood’s T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents. I think Dan expertly recaptured the magic that burned for such a small moment in the Silver Age.

As you can see this is from T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents issue 4, story 1, page 10. In this instance Dan kept the two central figures but did away with the background that you saw in the published page.
