DescriptionHere's a nice cover recreation of the totally 80s sci-fi cheesy Spores issue from Iron Man 157. Basically a fill-in issue, this is one of the most armor laden Iron Man issues and I'm please to own two pages from this book, the title splash and an interior page (I'm always buying from this issue so if you've got a page holla!). Honestly, the title splash to this issue is, in my opinion, one of the better splashes from the 80s but I digress. I contacted Alan Kupperberg, the original artist, regarding interior pages (which he didn't have) and he suggested a recreation of the cover for an incredibly affordable price of $250. I'll probably replace the title stat with a clear overlay (it's currently a paper copy on a flap) but the art is great and Alan even added the classic zip-a-tone at no charge. He was great with communication and the entire commission process lasted less then two months. He executed this exactly as I requested and I can't recommend him highly enough.Social/Sharing |
