DescriptionA lovely daily from Caniff's masterful Terry and the Pirates, featuring Terry, April Kane, and Deeth Crispin. Beautiful use of varied camera angles and narration. And that lush brushwork.... 7/21/39Social/Sharing |

Great daily. Young April Kane was one my favorites of Caniff and I really liked this part of the story line. Caniff was at his finest at during this period.

Spoiler! I'm just now reading 1939 but I haven't got to this strip yet! Oh well, I figured something like this was coming... so lets see, fine example from a high point of the American comic strip? I guess that's acceptable. 'Grats.

I'm not an automatic Caniff guy, but this one I really really like. The dialogue in the third panel alone is priceless.

great job, you were quicker than me to pick it up ;) I wish I could have it but it was already gone. I am sure it is in safe hands now
