Karate Kid vs.
Wolverine by
David Williams and
Simon Gough
I REALLY like David Williams’ art, and his covers for Wolverine: First Class were just beyond fantastic. I had been following his work on deviantart for a couple of years and seriously considered having him draw Wolverine, Batman or Snake-Eyes for a Karate Kid commission before finally deciding on Logan. I really dig the details of this drawing, like Wolverine’s stubble & arm hairs and Karate Kid’s hands.
This would be a fun fight . . . for Karate Kid. Logan knows many fighting styles, but he relies on his unbreakable bones and healing factor too much. He lets himself take punishment, which would be a major mistake when fighting Val Armorr. Val would strike Logan’s pressure points and basically make a fool out of Logan. And that’s a shame, because Logan should be better.
If you like this piece, then please do go check out some of David's comics work and/or buy some of his art for yourself.
