Orion vs. Beta Ray Bill by James Harren

Back when James did the Karate Kid vs. OMAC piece for me, we almost chose Beta Ray Bill as the opponent, and that got me to wondering about what Bill would like when drawn by Mr. Harren. I had been thinking about a second theme for commissions and �Asgard Meets The Fourth World� seemed like a cool idea to me, so here we are. And while James drew a very cool-looking Bill, his Orion looks even better. I particularly love the way he drew the Boom Tube and Orion�s Astro-Harness. If DC decides to relaunch a New Gods comic, I sincerely hope they ask James to draw it.

This fight could go on for years. Orion would take many a Stormbreaker blow to his face and Bill would be blasted far too many times by the Astro Force and I honestly have no idea who would be left standing, but I do know they wouldn�t be pretty.

This is so freaking awesome! The obvious choice would have been to go with Thor, but you thought outside the box and picked Beta Ray Bill as Orion's opponent, making this a very distinctive commission.
