Orion vs. The Destoyer by Andy Kuhn

Andy is another guy who has done multiple commissions for me and he always knocks them out of the park. When I saw that he was going to be a guest at NOLA Con 2011 I was thrilled because I had never actually met him. Also, I knew it was time to have him do an Asgard/Fourth World piece. Andy chose Orion and the Destroyer for his matchup and as you can see it is AWESOME. I look at it and think that the Destroyer must have destroyed Orion’s Astro-Harness with one of its blasts, thus pissing Orion off. And no one wants to piss off Orion. Thanks again Andy for a fantastic drawing!

I have no doubt that Orion will last a long time in this fight. No doubt at all. BUT unless he calms down and tries to out-think his opponent, he will lose. I don’t think anyone can beat the Destroyer in hand-to-hand combat, not even the son of Darkseid.
