Karate Kid vs. Rai by Ryan Cody

I have already gotten a couple of commissions from Ryan and he always knocks them out of the park. I have had him on my KK commision artist list for a year or so, but never could decide on an opponent. I gave him a list of options and he went with Rai, one of the coolest-looking comics characters ever. I added the red to Rai's head and chest because I just felt the need to, but this drawing is awesome with or without the color.

Val Armorr would kick Rai's butt from Japan to Metropolis and then back again. I mean, I like Rai a lot and I dug those old Valiant comics, but Rai's gonna lose. He may get a lick or two in, and he'll probably surprise Val when he produces a weapon out of his body, but Val will quickly adapt and overcome.
