I'm not surprised you sold it. Bruce appears to have painted a big yellow rectangle over some of the more eye catching areas. Oh...Wait...It's a post it....Or is it??

I thought about having it restored, but none of the restorers would touch it. Then I considered approaching Bruce about maybe doing a patch job, like some artists used to do with the UPC box on their covers. Ultimately, I decided it was easier to just sell it.
