Mantilo had no qualms about cribbing from other comics or genres, so I guess there should be little surprise that ROM shifted from 50's style sci-fi into Horror for awhile. It was shortly after this issue that the icky new Dire Wraiths were introduced. Even with no ROM present, a very nice, moody piece. Loved the inking team here.
