DescriptionWhen it comes to Watchmen, I am kind of an anomaly in the collecting world. Everybody is looking for Rorschach. I do like the character, obviously, but probably because of my scientific background, my favorite protagonists are Dr Manhattan and Ozymandias.I always wanted this specific page. There are many reasons, but curiously, the main driver is probably this simple sentence "The light is taking me to pieces." In a way, Dr Manhattan is indeed, a creature of light. Ozymandias would be the darkness, and Rorschach, the grey side of humanity and the sum of our good deeds and terrible mistakes. Watchmen is most certainly what turned me from a casual reader to an obsessed collector. There was something in each and single page that made me want for more than just a comic book or even a limited hardcover (though really nice) edition. You do not really realize that until you hold one of these pages into your hands. There is some kind of magic in Watchmen. Social/Sharing |

Speaking as someone who isn't an automatic Watchman fan: this is freakin' phenomenal. It's strikig, tannic, oaky, rich, and does not smell like a hamster cage. Fantastic -- a favorite page of mine from this series.

The birth of Dr Manhattan, what a nice page. I liked him too. It always made me kinda sad that this was the point he went from being normal and losing what made him human to being godlike and analytical. Still one of the coolest origins around. Congrats on this great piece of history.
