Dawn (2002) by Joseph Michael Linsner

This is a 2002 Dawn drawing that was professionally framed when I bought it on eBay. It is the usual mixed media one can expect from Linsner: colored pencils, alcohol markers, inks, & acrylic, I believe. I had this hanging on my wall until a door being slammed caused it to fall off and the glass shattered. I discovered that the art had been taped into the mat, which is why there is some tape and tape damage on the back side of the artwork (shown in additional pictures). I was disappointed to find this, but it does not affect the beauty of the piece. I have not re-framed her, however, since my new Linsner covers are up where she was displayed previously. Dawn is currently in a portfolio having a rest until she gets framed once more. ;)
