Description

Had the honor of meeting one of my huge favorites at Heroes in the mid nineties, Mr. Paul Smith. For some reason, I missed the initial fund drive, but like a true gentleman, Paul said he could do me a quick sketch for a $5 donation. So I requested Storm (long hair version) like I remember from his run on X-men right after Byrne. I really wish I could have gotten his number to maybe do a commission in the future. That guy really has the chops. Some artists' styles start out great but fade with time, Paul's has been consistant since his early days on that book. Everything the guy does is exquisite! His stuff looks as fresh today as it did back in the early eighties. Hands down, one of the true greats!
