DescriptionThe Wake the Devil story has special significance to me. Not only do I feel that it's Mike Mignola's best stylistic turn throughout his artistic career thus far, but I really enjoy this story. During the time when new issues of WTD were hitting stands I was at a difficult crossroads in my life and having new issues of this story to look forward to each month was something I really needed. Sounds silly to latch onto a comic book story as much as I admittedly did during this period, but we all have our 'thing' that keeps us afloat during difficult times. For me it was this story and therefore it has always held a special place in my fanboy heart. Anyway, thanks go out to Felix Lu for selling me this one! You're one of the good one's Felix.Social/Sharing |

Fantastic page Neil. First time we see Roger, right? Glad to hear you got one that means a lot to you; I know how that feels. :) BTW, for another view of the alchemist's workshop, check out my Guy Davis page from Universal Machine (http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=423631&GSub=44167)
