Clay Geerdes brought Rand Holmes into my co-owned Comics & Comix 2512 Telegraph Ave location a day or so before that year's Berkeleycon 1974 to peruse the wondrous comics treasures we were accumulating in there. He got a good deal on some EC, foz and Avon Wally Wood comics he needed for his inspiration collection. I asked him for a drawing in my sketch book, here we got Elmo from Harold Hedd reading comics!
