Description

I've been following the students at SCAD Atlanta for a few years now on the Temple of Cartoon Mojo ( http://templeofcartoonmojo.blogspot.com/ ). It's very entertaining to see all the different themes and takes on the themes from the students, as well as giving one an opportunity to become familiar with rising talent. Free Comic Book Day 2011 at Heroes Aren't Hard to Find in scenic Charlotte, NC was my first chance to meet Jackie in person after having watched her on the temple for a while. She's done fantastic work since the first pieces I had seen from her there, but her rate of improvement has been unbelievable. I asked her to name her poison and she chose Hellboy, and boy am I glad she did! It didn't hurt that she was incredibly nice and cool to talk with as well!
