There are no modern female cereal mascots, at least none that I know of. That's a real shame. It makes you wonder if some folks are just naturally turned off by the combination of ovaries and non pancake breakfast foods (thought I forgot about Mrs. Butterworth and Aunt Jemima there for a minute, didn't you?). I can't say, but I can say that I thought it would be more fun to have a female rendition of a longtime mascot than the Y chromosome carrying norm. I also really wanted to have a drawing of a lady-type character from Bridgit (although she draws males equally wonderful, don't get me wrong), so there you go.
