Ok folks, this is one of my new favorites. Rico collects Mr. T sketches himself in his fabulous gallery ( http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=247 ) that you should check out toot freakin sweet. I got into a conversation with Rico as he was setting up and he mentioned his collection of Mrs. T's little boy and I said that sounded like a fantastic subject for my request. He started out with a pencil, then he pulled out a marker, then he went to get more markers. The more he worked on it, the more he wanted to do to it. I love it when that happens b/c it says to me that the artist is getting something out of the piece as well! So why is this one of my new favorites? It has a cereal box of a cereal which actually existed being crushed by the character the cereal was based on. It has flying pieces of cereal which are accurate to the actual shape of the actual cereal. It has happy T and angry T. And of course, it has "pity the fool". That's a lot of elements, my friends.
